In 2003 in Iraq we had the “religious police” bring a young couple to the police station we were working out of… they demanded that the couple be imprisoned for 6 months for holding hands within sight of the mosque. …. Moroccan here. Even though i was born and raised in the Netherlands. From the age of 10 i've learned about Palestina when i saw the video of Muhammad al Durrah (Allah i rahmo) The young boy with his father during the second Intifada. From that moment on i was Palestinian by heart. As Moroccans we also feel a lot of guilt i think. Because a lot of Jewish Moroccans are zionists and contribute to the oppression of our brothers and sisters. We will NEVER kneel for anybody else but Allah s.w.t! We will not rest till Palestine is free. Till our brothers and sisters can pray their prayers in Al Quds without any restrictions In sha Allah.

I was in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm and I was blessed to be in Saudi Arabia last year during Founder's Day. What a tremendous celebration! And we were trapped by the celebration in Riyadh and couldn't get an Uber in, but was picked up by a Saudi diplomat and given a ride back to our hotel. We got to visit the square that was until recently used for public executions and it was like a city park (albeit paved) with children playing. So much has changed in Saudi Arabia in a short period of time. I've been to Dubai, and it's very interesting, but my favorite place I've been to is Lebanon. It saddens me the strife that is going on there. I hope one day to go to Syria and Jordan, but always I want to go back to Saudi Arabia. I fought on their land to push back the threats of Saddam Hussein to them and there is a special place in my heart for them. Don't be concerned for Fox News. They are concerned for those who have come and attacked the United States and threaten us to this day. But I know the people of the Middle East and they a diverse and interesting people.
